Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- One person, one account. Please don’t create multiple accounts to dodge a ban or to look like more than one voice.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Comments and community rules
Comments, replies and reactions are a big part of CricDebate. When you post, you agree not to:
- Abuse, threaten, harass or attack other users, players or public figures, or use hate speech
- Post spam, advertisements or unauthorised promotional links
- Share someone’s private information
- Post anything illegal, defamatory, obscene or that infringes someone else’s rights
- Pretend to be another person or organisation
- Try to disrupt or break the site, or to access areas you aren’t allowed to
We may remove comments, suspend or delete accounts, and block access at our discretion, with or without notice, if these rules are broken. Debate is welcome. Disrespect is not.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, store and share your content on the site and in connection with running and promoting it. You promise that your content is yours to post and does not break any law or anyone’s rights.
Our content
The articles, design, logo, graphics and other material on the site belong to CricDebate or its contributors and licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may share links to our stories and quote short extracts with credit and a link back. Please don’t copy, republish or sell our content without written permission.
Accuracy and opinions
We work to be accurate, but news changes quickly and we can’t guarantee that everything is complete or error-free. Opinion pieces and user comments reflect the views of their authors, not ours. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we’ll look into it.
Advertising and third-party links
The site may show advertisements and affiliate links. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products or services, and your dealings with them are your own responsibility.
